What's Been Going On
Hello everyone- it is Ethan. This family blog is dying and someone needs to resurrect it. Where are you guys? I am going to post a few pictures of things you have missed:
Byron Fisher is the first Eagle Scout in the Fisher Family. He became a member of the Eagle's nest on May 3rd, and his Court of Honor was held at the Mormon Battalion Visitor Center. It was splendid and magical (those were his words), especially the part where he gave a speech about his "ghetto stick," his prize fishing rod/hiking stick. Aunt Pam provided the music on the old school Casio Keyboard Amy received as her 1987 Christmas gift. Our favorite song was "When Johnny Comes Marching Home," complete with the sustain button on.
Byron and Ethan have had some highly successful fishing trips at Lake Hodges. Here is a 3 lb. beauty Byron pulled from the water one Saturday afternoon. For all you people that think everything has to be perfect in order to catch a fish, Byron caught this fish using a trout rod, and a white trout rooster tail. See, I told you fish are stupid and will bite at anything that moves. "I caught you a delicious bass."
Dad is a huge fan of ceanothous- or Mountain Lilac. He wanted this picture posted to the blog. It is from our hike to Corte Madera on May 20th.
We sold the Jetta for $950. Not bad considering that the battery was dead and the transmission was broken. We posted it to Craig's List and it sold in less than 24 hours. It was a good car while it lasted, which wasn't very long. Next car, the Audi . . . .
